Front cover layout.

Here I have created using Microsoft power point, layouts of magazine front covers I am considering for my practice school magazine and my final magazine. I have tried to create a variation in layout to experiment with how people would feel about them. I feel that either the 1st or 4th would be the most appropriate. This is because then I can put as much information to make the front cover look busy but not crowded.
I feel that the least effective layout would be the 5th as this is the most formally laid out front cover, which would be more appropriate for an older audience. The younger audience would believe it looks the least exciting.

I think putting a scroll on the outline for the anchor text could be considered appropriate, depending on the topic of the main article. For example it could connote as old, so something that could be considered old is appropriate to use as a main image and main article.
